I was going to skip the gym
It's leg day...

I wanted to skip the gym today.
Don’t worry, I didn’t. I’m not the type to skip. If I do skip, there HAS to be a good reason.
It was pretty easy in the end to stop myself from skipping.
I followed the lessons I’ve been teaching you:
I looked at my detailed, 5 year, 1 year goals, and current action plan
I looked at my artefact of strength
I read the handwritten letter Tom Platz wrote me

Tom Platz’s handwritten letter to me 😳
All of these worked to make me fail.
Fail at failing.
There’s a reason I’m so heavy on the goal setting, the mindset, pushing yourself.
It locks you in to actually reaching them.
We train perfectly.
Truthfully, other people should be taking more days off. Their training isn’t good enough, and it would clear fatigue.
But not us.
Atrophy kicks in real quick.
Skipped gym sessions add up, they make you lose months without realising it.
Trust the process, follow the plan, use your goals and artefacts to motivate you.
It’s only through adherence to salads that the fat man loses weight.
It’s time to stay consistent.
I’m going to be keep writing about ways to make it effortless to go to the gym.
Soon I’ll put all of my methods together in one place, I’ll offer you the ability to grab my checklist of “getting through the door”.
It’ll make you a winner.
Your Hypertrophy Hero,
Fletcher
P.S. There’s a lot of different ways to get you in the gym, that’s why my “getting through the door” checklist will focus around what speaks to you the most, and building that out. This way you’ll get a tailored system that keeps you 100% consistent. I was struggling for this exact thing for a while, it’s the tricks I found that helped I can teach you today.
