Buy Squatting Shoes
if you don't have them already...

What do you wear to squat?
I wear cool shoes.
A man who could afford 50 dollars had a pair of boots that'd still be keeping his feet dry in 10 years' time, while the poor man who could only afford cheap boots would have spent 100 dollars on boots in the same time and would still have wet feet.
This is the weirdest way I’ve started a newsletter.
Look you might have heard this quote before and I’m going to tie it together real nicely to squatting.
See squatting shoes are pretty huge.
They give you some heel elevation which allows you to have a greater range of motion at the ankle and get deeper in movements.

the person wearing squatting shoes has an extra few degrees of movement compared to the other person
This basically means their default ankle position would now be one where they’re already squatting a bit.
This means if you take their MOST squat able position, they’re going to have more knee bend.
This is incredible if someone has long femurs, or struggles to get depth.
For the most part this has a few benefits.
Easier to bias the quads
Easier on the knee joint
Easier to squat
All in all, it’s worth it.
So why do you think I said there’s a parallel here?
How many people are spending tons and tons and tons on supplements and this and that to “help build more muscle”.
All that money might be completely overruled by spending £150 on a pair of squatting shoes…
At least for quads 🙄
Not a bad trade.
If you don’t have squatting shoes yet, consider trying to save up for them.
Maybe make a game out of it…
“I’ll buy squatting shoes when I can squat x KG”
Have fun.
