Easy Trick to Stop Skipping Cardio

anyone can start doing this in seconds.

You should be doing cardio.

The reason’s obvious…

  • Lifts become easier

  • Recovery becomes easier

  • Heart works easier

You’ve probably already seen my cardio recommendations.

This isn’t about that.

Quick reminder if you haven’t seen it before.

Low intensity Zone 2 cardio on something like a seated bike for >130 minutes a week.

  • Here’s the problem with cardio.

  • It’s ridiculously boring.

  • So let’s make it fun 😳

The best way to make cardio fun is to make cardio the B plot.

Imagine your life was an episode of the office.

The A plot is you doing some super long and boring sales call.

The B plot is you doing parkour around the office.

  • You love the B plot and hate the A plot

  • So flip the two…

  • Instead of 20% being the B plot, it’s now 80%.

If you focus on what’s fun and change your focus, you can make the A plot become automatic.

This is what you need to do with cardio.

So speaking of shows…

Cardio shows.

  • Find a show you really want to watch

  • Make a rule where you can ONLY watch it during cardio

  • Give a show a chance (3 episodes)

Never watch at home.

If you want to watch the show more, do more cardio.

If you really don’t like it in the 3 episodes, drop the show.

If after the 3 episodes you start to dislike the show, drop the show.

You’re trying to pick something that keeps you engaged on the cardio. You want something that forces you to be consistent. You need high standards here.

The best shows you can pick are ones that are a similar length to your cardio sessions.

Here’s a bonus tip for you, download the shows on Netflix so you can watch without Wifi.
