Does Turkesterone work or just make people fat?

Turk does make you much much hungrier, but is it something that actually increases gains?

I opened YouTube for the first time in weeks and saw a small channel talking about Greg Doucette and Hussein Farhat.

It was some long winded video about Hussein not being natural, and Greg using him to sell supplements.

I didn’t really care.

There was one thing that interested me though.

The video touched on Turkesterone.

It reminded me I’d been meaning to write about this.

First things first, I don’t care, and I don’t know if Hussein is natural. He could be. It’s naturally achievable, but it might not be.

This is not about Greg or Hussein, this is about Turk.

Turk is a bit of a weird one.

If you go out and look for evidence proving it works, you’d struggle to find a study that ACTUALLY backs it.

You might stumble upon something which looks like it supports it. You might find the one comparative study there is. At first glance you might think it supports Turk being great.

after all turkesterone (Ec1 and Ec2) increased muscle way more than placebo and control

Turk does look like it works here.

The conclusion form this study would be “Turkesterone has a significant increase in hypertrophy compared to placebo.”

Then you take a look behind the curtain.

There’s one blaringly obvious thing that most people miss.

that’s a lot of fat…

These guys were in a surplus!

Not just that, but the Turkesterone takers were in a HUGE surplus.

Lean mass increases in a surplus is… expected.

It’s not that Turkesterone is something that never ever could work, there’s not much info out there.

But the one study that exists, shows no difference.

This ends up as a classic subjective vs objective Poole Fitness lesson.

If you try Turkesterone and it works like a charm for you, your exercise performance increases hugely, you’re making better progress, then take it.

If it does nothing, it probably does nothing…

There might be some guys out there this works for, but considering the price, and the fact there’s proven supplements that are way better, I’d rather you chose something else first.
