Last year I was talking about my newsletter and a YoTalks popped up.
“Why do you have a newsletter bro no one reads that.”
Point is, everything loves the TikTok train because it’s what everyone else does.
I like writing, it’s like a form of journaling for me.
It helps me think about a topic. It helps me convey things to you guys. It’s easier than whipping out a camera, etc, for me.
I love my newsletter.
That begs a question though, how useful is learning in this way?
Remember way back in school they’d talk about the learning styles…
Yikes…
Visual
Auditory
Kinaesthetic
Everyone has a different way to learn 🙄
See this is an old theory that had ZERO backing that every teacher spoke about polluting our minds.
Truth is, the “learning style” isn’t what matters, it’s just what’s interesting.
Boring teachers are almost always auditory.
Get the class to stand up. Make them use their hands. Do a proper activity.
Everyone is engaged, everyone is learning.
The problem with this misinformation is a few things.
Teachers who believe it feel like there’s no point accommodating all three and just stick to boring auditory lessons.
Kids believe they’re kinaesthetic because they’ve only learnt from the fun, engaging lessons and now don’t try as much with the rest.
People go through the rest of their life believing something that self sabotages their way to grow.
I’ll get back on some YouTube videos and TikTok stuff soon, but what matters isn’t the platform, it’s being entertaining and I’ll do my best on that.

Fletcher
