- But You're Online...
But You're Online...
let's debunk a huge myth

I love coaching online.
It’s completely different to in person.
I’m able to think about who I want to coach
I’m able to find thousands of that person even if what makes them them is rare
I can fit a specific type of problem for a specific type of person
That might sound weird and wishy washy but I’ll make it make sense.
I specialise my learning, writing, marketing, and coaching for one person.
If you’re reading this, odds are you’re that person.
It’s why I’m in the best position to help you.
I can work with someone from anywhere without losing coaching quality
I’m an option of many online coaches, instead of a few in-person PTs
I can focus entirely on building systems that help people like you
I’m able to easily form a personal connection with you
I can forget and ignore anything that doesn’t help my clients
Let’s break this open.
If you’ve ever had any doubts that online coaching is useful, this will quell that.
1. Online Coaching Doesn’t Lose Coaching Quality
I’ll be honest.
There’s one big glaring thing that you could say is missing with online coaching.
I’m not sitting their in real time
I’m not watching your sets in real time
I’m not giving you pointers in real time
Now that I’ve admitted that I have something else to admit…
This doesn’t have to be in real time.
I can sit anywhere in the world
I can watch your sets
I can give you pointers
I’m not trying to stroke your ego here but there’s a few things you have to accept too.
If you’re here you know what good form is.
You won’t need to record and show me your sets more than once…
I BEG my clients to send me their sets so I can review, and give tips.
This isn’t as important as you’d think. There is something that matters much much more though. Motivation.
If you’ve read about the motor unit recruitment half of the stimulus for growth you’d know why this matters.
An in person trainer can actually be super motivating.
They can tell you to keep pushing, give you positive feedback, etc.
I’m sorry but I probably won’t be hopping on Facetime during a session…
There are two things that I have done for you though.
Competition and community
Money
These are the two ways an online trainer can motivate someone.
I take advantage of competition and community in my group coaching.
I take advantage of money with my 1 on 1 coaching.
If you work with someone highly specialised in giving you the solution to your problem, and they can make sure your form is accurate (just not in real time) and they can keep you highly motivated, it doesn’t matter if they’re online or not.
2. You Have All the Options in the World
Let’s go back in time real quick.
It’s the 1980s and you’re lucky enough to have a TV.
You’ve got access to like 50 different channels
They pretty much all do the same thing
It’s pretty boring and binge-watching is not something that exists
Now in the present day it’s a bit different…
There are billions of videos, all of which perfectly fit one type of person.
I might be the type of person who absolutely eats up Greg Doucette brain rot videos.
I’m now sitting there for hours and hours binge-watching Greg Doucette.
This wasn’t possible before. The exact same exists with coaches. There are so many out there.
Every online coach is a perfect fit for a specific type of person. excluding the guys who aren’t perfect for anyone… 🙄
This is why people I work with, get the best results. Because they’re working with me because it’s me.
When you have more options in the world, the solutions have to be more tailored, and a better fit, for you.
3. I Build Systems for One Person
If you know my personal story behind wanting to coach you’ll know it comes from a place of pain.
I didn’t get the results I wanted when I started.
I fell victim to certain creators who pushed bad content.
I wasted a lot of effort and money on things that didn’t work
I always felt beaten up and like a zombie because of all the overtraining
This whole brand is to give the tools to the past version of me so he can get where he wanted.
Everything I make is thinking about that guy and what he needed.
Anyone who comes here with a similar pain, problem, journey.
They all fit the same solution.
Because I’m curing specific problems, the systems I make are incredible at doing that. They’re don’t have to be a generic approach as you’re a generic coach.
4. I Can Easily Form Personal Connections With You
This one might sound a little bit weird but I’m writing to previous me.
Previous me, isn’t that different to current me.
I think the same. I have the same humour. I have the same personality.
Anyone who resonates with my writing, enjoys my lessons.
They’re people I’m going to click with because you’re similar.
I can form that personal connection with you really easily.
5. I Can Ignore Stuff That Doesn’t Help My Clients
Imagine I was working the gym floor.
I have to sit there and study how to best get a client from a random person.
I have to learn how to keep them staying…
Usually gym PTs use the same methods to keep clients.
Make them feel really sore from their workout
Make sure they get the burn during their workout
Convince them that they NEED this help because it’s undoable without them
I don’t have to resort to those slimey tactics.
I can ignore anything that’s sensational, or just there as a gimmick.
I can ignore the best method for xyz for people who aren’t in my target audience.
I can forget about stuff that doesn’t help you.
If you sit there wondering how I always end up coming out with content that answers your questions, or frameworks that fix your problems.
It’s because I’m writing directly to you.
I’m solving problems you specifically have.
I am not a generic coach answering generic questions generically.
I’m a specific coach answering specific questions specifically.
Thanks for staying here, even if I’m online 🙄
